Here, I will post about my favourite pieces of travel gear. Clothing, equipment, and accessories that make life easier, or more enjoyable while on the road.
I agree with Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, that, "He who would travel happily must travel light." When preparing for long-term travel, I believe one of the biggest mistakes many people make is to rush out to their local outdoors/travel store, buy a big rucksack, and stock up on all of the tools, accessories and supplies that they believe (or have been convinced) they need to survive in another country. So, I will only be writing about items that I actually use and find to be very useful when travelling.
